The Oklahoma Postal History Society will meet this Tuesday at 7:00 PM at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, NW 15th and Harvey.
The program is the Postal History of McCurtain County, presented by Norm Pence. Norm says if you have any postal marking
from any of the small towns in McCurtain County, He would love to see them. There are about 75 towns and Norm has less than half. SO DIG OUT THOSE little, short-lived McCurtain post offices.
As usual, some of us will meet at 6 PM at Louie’s Midtown for dinner at 6PM before the meeting and all are welcome. All you have to be is hungry and love to eat.

The regular meeting of the Oklahoma City Stamp Club will be tomorrow night. The doors open at 7:00 PM and the program will begin right after 7:30 PM.
The program is Ralph DeBoard’s talk on the Postal History of Tahiti. This is the same program he gave at the New York Collectors Club last month and is based on his National Gold Medal and International Vermeil Medal Exhibit. So Ralph not only knows his subject, he owns it as well.
This should be a really outstanding opportunity for all of us.
Here is a cover mailed by a – soon to be famous – young 2nd lieutenant
There will be APS and OPS circuit books to buy from, as usual.
See you there.
The program at our next OKC Stamp Club Meeting will be a visit to Tahiti to take a look at it’s Postal History.
We should also have OPS circuit books available.
